  • How can specifications, approved delivery information and evidence make a product page clearer?

Audit the questions that prevent a decision

Product page optimization in Egypt is not simply a request for longer descriptions. The useful decision is which missing fact prevents a suitable buyer from choosing confidently. That fact may be a dimension, compatibility requirement, delivery condition or return restriction rather than another promotional adjective.

Collect questions from support conversations, sales enquiries and internal product specialists without exposing customer personal information. Group them into four categories: suitability, fulfilment, reversibility and evidence. Then inspect whether the product page answers each relevant question before asking the visitor to add the item to the basket.

Make specifications usable, not merely present

A specification table helps only if buyers can interpret it. State units, distinguish product dimensions from packaging dimensions and identify what is included. For variants, make clear which image, specification and availability belong to the selected option.

Compatibility needs particular care. Replace a vague claim such as “works with most devices” with verified requirements where those are available. If compatibility is unknown, escalate the gap to the product owner rather than allowing a copywriter to invent certainty. Keep important limitations near the relevant claim.

Use plain language alongside necessary technical terms. For Arabic and English pages, check that both versions describe the same model and conditions. Translation should not accidentally turn a conditional statement into an unconditional promise.

Explain delivery and returns from approved sources

Ask operations to confirm how delivery information is determined and which conditions can be stated on the product page. If the final charge depends on location, explain when it will be calculated. Do not invent a nationwide delivery promise or a fixed arrival date because the page looks incomplete.

Use only the store’s approved returns information. Summarize relevant conditions accurately and link to the complete policy. Check whether the summary applies to this product category and selected variant. Where the policy is unclear, assign an internal owner to resolve it before publishing a claim. This is an editorial workflow, not legal advice or a substitute for policy review.

Keep essential conditions discoverable near the purchase decision. A footer link alone may not answer a buyer who needs to know whether opening or installing a product changes the applicable process.

Match each claim with appropriate proof

Google’s people-first content guidance emphasizes useful, original content that serves readers. Apply that principle by adding decision-relevant evidence rather than repeating manufacturer language without context.

Use accurate product photographs, clear views of included parts and verified demonstrations where available. Reviews must be genuine and used with appropriate permission; do not manufacture testimonials, ratings or customer identities. A brand logo is not evidence that a specific product meets an unverified requirement.

Give content owners a simple evidence register: claim, supporting material, responsible reviewer and unresolved limitation. This makes future updates safer when products, packaging or fulfilment arrangements change.

An unfilled product-question acceptance sheet

Create a row for each question found in actual support records, search behaviour or approved buyer research. Record the question, affected variant, verified answer, evidence owner, content task and acceptance check. Leave the answer unfilled when specifications or policy wording have not been confirmed.

Match the evidence format to the uncertainty: dimensions require accurate measurements, included contents require an approved list, and connection or assembly questions require a truthful view of the relevant parts. Do not use lifestyle imagery to imply accessories or capabilities that the listing does not include.

Verify delivery and returns wording with the operational owner, and compare every update with the matching product variant. Check that the page makes the answer findable before the purchase decision, not only in a hidden support exchange. Keep unresolved questions visible in the editorial queue. Completion of the content task is a release fact; a commercial improvement must be measured rather than attached to an invented product story.

Review the whole buying path

Avoid keyword padding, unsupported superlatives and duplicated specifications that disagree with the selected variant. Test the page on mobile and follow the journey into the basket. The mobile checkout audit helps check that clarity survives the next step.
